There has been a lot of talk about the new movie The Hunger Games. I know many people (including Christian homeschoolers) that have been to see it. I have read many articles about the movie and the books. The link below is Kevin Swanson and his daughter talking about The Hunger Games. I really liked Kevin Swanson's perspective about the movie.

Here are a few questions....
Why are so many people today willing to sacrifice their lives for "nothing?" While some Christians are not willing to sacrifice their lives for Christ?
The children of today will be leading the next generation. If these are the kinds of things my generation are watching now. How is this helping them to grow into strong Christian men and women?
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. "Proverbs 22:6
"I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me." Psalm 101:3
"For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil."
Romans 16:19
Thank you for posting on this, Scarlett. Although we haven't seen this film, we find that we need help thinking Biblically when we watch movies! Mr. Swanson's program was SO helpful, as always.
